“I have now been in the insurance business for over 50 years. I really can’t believe it,
but I suppose it does mean that I have a huge amount of experience and knowledge to bring to the table.
I started aba Group in 1993 and the company has grown steadily since that time.
I am lucky to be supported by a dedicated friendly team who make coming to work a pleasure.
When not at work I do enjoy DIY jobs around the house and also dining out with friends and family.”

“It seems like only yesterday that I started work for the Eagle Star insurance company in Warrington
but it is actually now over 40 years ago.

How quickly time flies when you are having fun! Graham approached me in 1995
to join aba Group as we had successfully worked together in a previous business
and I became a Director in aba Group in the year 2000.

As well as looking after my loyal and long standing clients, I am also
involved in new business development helping to ensure the continued growth of the company.

Away from the office, I enjoy having a beer or two with the family, watching my son
who plays volleyball, and following Wigan Warriors rugby league team.
I am a real USophile and enjoy holidays in America.”

I started at the tender age of 16 as an office junior and 16 years later I am now part of the furniture
working as an account handler. We have a happy team, which makes coming to work fun.

Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my children, walking, eating out and socialising.”

“I started at aba Group in 2007 part time whilst at university.

Once I’d completed my university course, I was offered a full-time position of
account handler and new business coordinator with the company and have never looked back.

I’ve gained a wealth of experience in dealing with clients and insurers on a day-to-day basis
over the past years and now perform client visits for renewal discussions.

I’d say this is the most interesting part of my job because I really get to
understand the ins and outs of a client’s business.

In my spare time, I love to exercise.

I’m the crazy girl who’s usually signing up to a million mile mud run.”
