Independent manufacturing insurance brokers
As a manufacturer, you will be exposed to a wide range of risks and you will need manufacturing insurance cover.
These risks can affect the earning potential of your business.
At aba Group, however, we have the expertise to set up manufacturing insurance cover for you which is designed to eliminate or minimise the potential impact of these risks.
As a manufacturer, you may also take your goods to your site where you will install and/or commission them.
This will mean that you need to have some manufacturing insurance cover similar to that arranged by a contractor covering your stock on site and during installation (until it is handed over to your customer).

Having manufactured the goods you will then need to get them to your customer and to do this you will need to provide transport.
Whether you use your own vehicles or haulage contractors you will find that most of them operate under the Road Haulage Association (RHA) conditions which limit their liability to £100 per tonne.
You will need to arrange goods-in-transit cover to ensure that you are fully insured.
If you use your own vehicles you will need to arrange cover for the vehicles under a motor or motor fleet policy.
Some of your goods may be exported and you will need to arrange marine insurance cover.
As a specialist manufacturing insurance broker, we also have extensive experience in sourcing relevant manufacturing insurance policies for paper converting manufacturers.
